The Philippines on Sunday logged 564 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 3,670,739.
The country’s active case count stood at 46,537, according to data posted on the Department of Health’s website.Latest data showed that 24.64% out of the 3,701 total intensive care unit beds for COVID-19 patients nationwide were in use.
At least 22.04% of the country’s 20,773 isolation beds were utilized, while 13.66% of the 14,037 ward beds nationwide were in use. Meanwhile, in the National Capital Region , at least 24.68% of the 1,256 ICU beds were occupied. 21.44% of the region’s 4,613 isolation beds and 24.12% of the 3,943 ward beds were utilized.
The regions with the most cases in the past two weeks were the National Capital Region with 2,307 infections, Region 4-A with 1,253, and Region 6 with 903. A total of 20,598 individuals were tested as of March 12, with 293 laboratories being able to submit data.
