Pilipinas lumahok sa 29th Asia Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum sa Jakarta

JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Lumahok ang Pilipinas sa ika-29 session ng Asia Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum o APRSAF-29 noong September 19-22 sa Jakarta. Pinangunahan ni Director General Dr. Joel Joseph S. Marciano Jr. ang sampung miyembro ng delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa nasabing event.

Ayon pa sa DFA, inorganisa ang forum ng Indonesia’s Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional o BRIN pakikipagutlungan ng Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan o MEXT, at ng Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency o JAXA. Ang APRSAF ang pinakamalaking space-related conference sa Asia Pcific region na nagsusulong ng kooperasyon sa pagitan ng iba-ibang space agencies, governmental bodies, universties at research institutes mula sa mahigit 40 bansa patungkol sa space activities.

Nakilahok naman si Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin sa Plenary Session para sa anunsyo ng paghohost ng Pilipinas sa ika-31 APRSAF sa 2025 o APRSAF-31. Tinalakay rin ni Dr. Marciano kasama si Ambassador Jamoralin ang posibleng kolaborasyon sa pagitan ng Indonesia at Pilipinas patungkol sa space activities.
