DAP supremo says voters in the by-election have faced an overload of lies, fake news and hate speech on social media. FMTNews
PETALING JAYA: DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang says PH has two weeks to make Tanjung Piai voters the “most media literate” people in Malaysia, able to identify lies and hate speech on social media and chat messaging.
Another crucial task for PH during the two-week campaigning period is to convince voters why the real battle is between PH and the Muafakat Nasional, made up of PAS and Umno. He said he was aware that there were attempts to poison the people’s minds with unfounded claims that PH would last only one term after failing to fulfil its general election manifesto.
