The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong advised Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to refrain from joining the protest actions slated on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and on several other days.
In a Facebook post, written in Filipino, the Philippine Consulate said that they have received information that there will be several protest actions on December 24, 25, 26 and 30.
They likewise reminded Filipino workers to avoid going to the areas where the protest actions will be held. The advisory also said that workers should refrain from wearing either black or white-colored shirts and to remain indoors as much as possible.Related Posts
