After an appropriately somber opening, host Davidson may have been upstaged by a pair of cameos from the internet’s favorite lovebirds.

As the song marched to peak existential crisis, with a band of Petes in black hoodies, Davidson judged himself a three out of ten, compared himself to a corner meth head, sighed about still being known as Skete on the internet thanks to Kanye West, acknowledged up his tabloid big dick energy and his bipolar energy. This is a performer who still believes he always must be the cruel butt of his own comedy. You are Kenough, Pete. There were lighter moments throughout the evening as well.
