PETALING JAYA: Kejayaan pemain badminton perseorangan No. 1 negara, Lee Zii Jia merangkul gelaran sulungnya, musim ini, selepas muncul juara pada Terbuka Thailand, semalam memberi petanda positif menjelang Sukan Olimpik 2024 di Paris, Julai ini.
“Saya harap dapat kekalkan keyakinan dan momentum ini untuk kejohanan selepas ini juga. Saya juga harap dapat mencatat keputusan yang baik di tanah air saya sendiri, minggu depan. “Untuk Malaysia Masters, tak banyak masa untuk saya, mungkin saya akan pulang malam ini dan harap saya dapat berehat secukupnya. Saya harap semua perkara positif ini akan berterusan sehingga minggu depan terutama saya beraksi di laman sendiri, ” kata Zii Jia kepada Spotv selepas perlawanan berakhir.
Justeru, dengan kejayaannya menjulang gelaran Terbuka Thailand meletakkan anak muda berusia 26 tahun itu di landasan tepat dalam persediaannya ke Paris.
