Para anggota Caritas Wilayah Sabah berhimpun selama dua hari di CMI bagi meneliti pelbagai program untuk kesejahteraan komuniti.Caritas Wilayah Sabah telah mengadakan pertemuan bersemuka buat julung kalinya pada Februari 17-18 lalu.

Pertemuan dua hari ini dimulakan dengan Misa Kudus yang dipimpin oleh Fr Terence Thaddeus selaku Paderi Pembimbing Rohani Caritas Keuskupan Agung Kota Kinabalu. Pada hari kedua, peserta mendengar perkongsian mengenai kerja-kerja pembangunan komuniti yang disampaikan oleh Puan Anne Lasimbang, Pengarah Eksekutif Pacos Trust, sebuah NGO yang telah melakukan kerja- kerja pembangunan komuniti di negeri Sabah dan Sarawak, terutama kepada orang asal selama lebih 30 tahun.

Sr Anita di dalam ucapannya berkata program selama dua hari tersebut adalah sangat penting untuk memastikan misi Caritas Sabah tetap berada di landasan yang betul.
