SANDAKAN: Persatuan Pelancongan Sandakan (Stan) sangat menyokong usaha Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar Negeri Datuk Christina Liew untuk bekerjasama dengan Singapore Airlines dan anak syarikatnya Scoot bagi menarik lebih ramai pelancong Australia ke Sabah.
Stan percaya perkongsian ini akan menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan industri pelancongan Sandakan.Presidennya Teo Chee Kim berkata statistik menunjukkan pelancong Australia mewakili kira-kira satu perempat daripada pelawat asing yang datang ke Sandakan, menjadikan mereka salah satu pasaran pelancongan paling penting di Sandakan.
