Centre for Gambling Reform Chief Advocate Tim Costello says Premier Perrottet is showing “unwavering commitment” to the cashless gaming card despite ClubsNSW’s history of “power” over reforms.
“Perrottet’s yet to announce the full suite of his policies but his is certainly in principle far better,” Mr Costello told Sky News Australia.
“Minns hasn’t committed to the cashless card – when I talked to him late last year was reminding me that Julia Gillard got beaten when she tried to introduce it in 2012 by the power of ClubsNSW – they are just that powerful.
