Permohonan sijil halal dalam kalangan Bumiputera meningkat, kata menteri

Permohonan persijilan halal Jakim menunjukkan trend peningkatan dalam kalangan usahawan bumiputera sepanjang tiga tahun bermula tahun 2021. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 13 Jun, 2023.

Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar berkata statistik permohonan bagi bumiputera yang diperolehi oleh Jakim merekodkan sebanyak 1,500 permohonan pada 2021 manakala tahun 2022 dan tahun ini setakat Jun 1,000 permohonan. “Hakikatnya memang ramai pemain industri adalah mereka yang bukan bumiputera sebab itu permohonan sijil halal itu dipelopori mereka yang bukan beragama Islam,” katanya pada sidang media selepas menyampaikan sumbangan kepada Rumah Perlindungan Al-Fattah di Semenyih hari ini.

Hadir sama pada majlis sumbangan itu adalah Ahli Dewan Negara Senator Ras Adiba Radzi dan Ahli Parlimen Hulu Langat Mohd Sany Hamzan.
