: Mahkamah Tinggi di sini hari ini diberitahu bahawa permohonan injunksi bekas Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Nenggiri Mohd Azizi Abu Naim untuk menghentikan Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya daripada mengadakan pilihan raya kecil bagi kerusi itu adalah bersifat akademik.
Peguam Awang Armadajaya Awang Mahmud, yang mewakili Speaker DUN Kelantan Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, pula berkata anak guamnya hanya menjalankan tugas mengikut Perkara 31A Perlembagaan Kelantan mengenai pemakluman kekosongan kerusi Nenggiri. Selepas mendengar hujah kedua-dua pihak, Pesuruhjaya Kehakiman Roz Mawar Rozain menetapkan 12 Ogos ini untuk keputusan.
