Azalina Othman Said menjawab soalan Lim Guan Eng mengenai perkembangan dasar pemisahan kuasa peguam negara dengan pendakwa raya di Dewan Rakyat.

“Mereka inginkan di bawah kerajaan secara menyeluruh. Jadi dalam akta berkenaan, kita perlu adakan perbincangan. Sama juga dengan isu peguam negara, kemungkinan Jabatan Peguam Negara tidak mahu pengkhususan tersebut. Oleh itu, kita perlu berbincang. Katanya, pindaan itu termasuk pemisahan kuasa peguam negara dengan pendakwa raya untuk memelihara kebebasan budi bicara pendakwa raya.
