GEORGE TOWN: Indera Kayangan assemblyman Gan Ay Ling has tested positive for Covid-19 and is advising those who have been in close contact with her to get tested.
Gan, 46, said she was informed on Sunday that a resident she met a week ago had tested positive for Covid-19.
"I will abide by instructions from the Kangar District Health Department to conduct self-quarantine at home until the end of the infection period," she said in a statement on Thursday . "I apologise to all parties, including staff in the office, as well as friends and residents who are affected.
