PERKESO Responds To Viral Claim, Says Appeal Underway | TRP

Perkeso says its head office is reviewing Muhammad Hazreeq's appeal and a decision will be made soon.

Recently an individual from Melaka took to Twitter to voice his grievances in getting reparations from PERKESO after getting involved in a road accident last year.In a response to the post which has since gone viral, the Social Security Organisation told The Rakyat Post that their investigation which was done after receiving a notice of the accident from Muhammad Hazreeq Abu Hassan’s employer on 28 September 2022, found that there was a personal detour involved.

PERKESO PERKESO added investigation found that the case was not a Work Related Disaster based on Muhammad Hazreeq’s statement, police report as well as employer’s information, in line with Section 24 of the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 . The office of PERKESO’s chief executive will make a final decision after the review is completed soon.
