Perikatan names candidates for Terengganu, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan

Perikatan Nasional will contest all seats in Terengganu, Kelantan and Negri Sembilan. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 28, 2023.

Among the seats in focus are Ru Rendang and Batu Buruk, which will be defended by caretaker menteri besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi, respectively. Khalil is the son of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.Kuala Terengganu PN communication head Ahmad Amzad Hashim was announced as the candidate for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election, which will take place simultaneously with the state polls.

Kelantan PN will be fielding 23 new faces in total. There are two female candidates, Rohani Ibrahim and Nor Asilah Mohamed Zin .
