Perhimpunan Gamis bantah Dong Jiao Zong tidak dibenarkan, kata polis
Timbalan Presiden Gamis Mohd Zofrie Zulhilmie Ruslee berkata, keengganan Dong Jiao Zong untuk menerima pembelajaran Jawi untuk murid Tahun 4 sekolah vernakular boleh membawa kepada "berulangnya" peristiwa rusuhan kaum 13 Mei, 1969.– Gambar Facebook, 31 Disember, 2019.
POLIS menganggap perhimpunan yang dirancang Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam Malaysia terhadap kumpulan pendidikan Cina Dong Jiao Zong esok sebagai melanggar undang-undang. The Malay Mail melaporkan, Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi ACP Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan Abdullah berkata, himpunan itu melanggar Akta Perhimpunan Aman .
