Some kind of Percy Jackson event has been teased for Saturday, July 22, and it could mean anything from a surprise installation to a trailer that could debut online soon after.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians currently stands as one of the most exciting upcoming Disney+ titles, and it's one of the few that isn't attached to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or Star Wars. Its success would allow the Mouse House to build a new franchise from the ground up. While Percy Jackson was previously adapted into two feature films, they earned mixed reactions from fans of the books, and Riordan himself has disavowed them.
