PETALING JAYA: Perak’s Amirul Azhan Aznan is not just a marauding right wingback – he’s a budding businessman too.
For some, the balancing act can be a tough one but the Ipoh boy, known for his energetic runs on the flanks, is loving it. And he’s using what he has learnt from football to help him in business.
Amirul, an AFF Suzuki Cup runner-up in 2018, stressed there were similarities between business and football. “In business, starting it is easy, but developing it is another thing. Just like football, you need to work hard to keep your business running. You need to market, develop the menus and come up with ways to expand the business. So whatever I learnt from football, it’s being used in business.”
“Also, this season is a little different as I have to play with two wingers. Last season, it was with Partiban, but this time, our tactics require the wingers to change positions. So I have to play with Careca too.
