IPOH: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad has arrived at Istana Kinta for an audience with Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah.
Saarani, who is also Perak Umno and Barisan Nasional chairman, arrived at Istana Kinta at 2.08pm Wednesday
On Tuesday Saarani said he would seek an audience with the Perak Ruler to seek his consent to dissolve the state legislative assembly for state polls to be held concurrently with GE15. On Monday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah had consented to the dissolution of Parliament, paving the way for GE15 to be held within 60 days.
