Parti Sosialis Malaysia shared a video online showing one of the activists being pushed by an officer during a standoff which broke one of her teeth.

It states that the PSM chairperson Dr Jeyakumar, 68, along with 3 others have been arrested by the police during the standoff between the Perak Farmers and the land and mines office enforcement officers from Ipoh and the police. Through the video that was shared by PSM in their Twitter feed, it can be seen that Yee Shan was pushed, resulting in her falling to the ground face first. This incident took place during this morning’s standoff.The PTG officers then continued to demolish the farm. Even then, the PSM members stood together with the farmers in the standoff.
“Why evict productive farmers, when they have applied for the land and waited patiently to comply with the State Government’s offer for alternative land? It was the Perak State that failed to relocate them,” the press statement read.
