IPOH: All 14 eco-forest parks in Perak under the state Forestry Department will not be opened for activities during the conditional movement control order (MCO) which starts on Monday (May 4), says Datuk Mohamed Zin Yusop.
The State Forestry Department director said the 14 parks were in the five administrative districts of Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta/Manjung, Larut and Matang, as well as Perak Selatan.
“The Prime Minister announced on May 1 that almost all economic sectors, including forests management, can operate starting tomorrow, but forest eco-tourism here will remain closed.
