IPOH: There is no need to table a motion in the state assembly for the state government to help the debt-ridden Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS), says Perak Corporation Bhd (PCB) audit committee chairman Chong Zhemin.
He said this was because he had received assurance from Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu that aid would be given to MAPS.
Chong had previously said that there would be a motion tabled over the theme park on the last day of the Perak state legislative assembly sitting on Tuesday .The Keranji assemblyman revealed that the theme park's operational cost is about RM3.3mil monthly.
