: The investigation into a bank operations officer in Bercham, accused of sexually harassing a female colleague, is nearing completion.
“We received a report from the 38-year-old victim at 7.17 pm on Aug 16, alleging that her supervisor had sexually harassed her. The incident reportedly took place around 2021. Some 120 members of the National Union of Bank Employees staged a peaceful picket outside a bank in Bercham on Wednesday, protesting the company’s handling of the sexual harassment case involving its employee.
NUBE alleged that in October 2021, the victim filed an official complaint with the bank, reporting that her supervisor had sent sexually explicit and inappropriate messages to her via WhatsApp.
