You may have noticed that on the continent the iconic crisp has different branding
If you have ever been on holiday outside of Ireland, you may have noticed that Walkers crisps are branded differently on the continent.
Although some people claim the name was kept in the UK and Ireland as it is an established brand, others suggest it is because there are some small differences between the two products. "They offer similar products in terms of potato crisps and savoury snacks, but they may have differences in flavours, packaging, and other aspects of their products.
Sharing their own verdict, an upvoted Quora user said: "The brand that came first was Lays. Walkers, a very successful crisp brand that Americans wanted to copy and bring over to the States due to its success in the UK and amongst their American Soldiers.
