Apparently there are certain brands that are made of nontoxic and biodegradable materials that are safe to eat.Here's one line from the Wiki page to keep in mind:"However, they are not produced in food-safe conditions, and are not recommended for eating."that claims their packing peanuts — while"not particularly tasty" — are"edible and digest easily.
