Penyelidikan kanser masih kurang di rantau ini - KL & Putrajaya - Utusan Online
KUALA LUMPUR 3 April - Sebuah organisasi penyelidikan kanser di negara ini, Cancer Research Malaysia melancarkan video ‘Reverse The Views To Reverse Cancer’ bersempena sambutan kempen ‘Reverse Cancer Day 2019’, di sini semalam.
Katanya, Kempen Reverse Cancer Day yang disempurnakan oleh Pengerusi Lembaga Pemegang Amanah, Datuk Seri Dr. Aishah Ong itu bertujuan meningkatkan kesedaran masyarakat supaya terus menyokong penyelidikan perubatan penyakit berkenaan. “Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, setiap dua daripada empat orang yang didiagnosis dengan kanser masih hidup sehingga hari ini,” katanya.
“Sesetengah kanser yang biasa didapati di Asia tidak dikaji sepenuhnya. Begitu juga dengan genetik yang berbeza dalam kalangan penduduk Asia yang mungkin menyebabkan tindak balas berbeza terhadap rawatan,” katanya.
