Penulis blog didenda RM4,500 buat komen jelik terhadap Agong
SEORANG penulis blog Aspan Alias didenda RM4,500 oleh Mahkamah Sesyen di Kuala Lumpur hari ini kerana membuat dan memulakan penghantaran komen jelik terhadap Yang di-Pertuan Agong di laman Facebook miliknya, Mei tahun lepas.
Mahkamah turut memerintahkan warga emas itu menjalani hukuman penjara enam bulan sekiranya gagal membayar denda tersebut. Hantaran itu kemudian dibaca di Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Siber dan Multimedia, Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersil, Ibu Pejabat Polis Bukit Aman, Tingkat 27, Menara KPJ, Wangsa Maju, di Kuala Lumpur pada 9 pagi, 18 Mei 2021.
Terdahulu, Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Najihah Farhana Che Awang memohon hukuman setimpal sebagai pengajaran kepada tertuduh kerana tindakannya tidak mencerminkan kesopanan dan kesusilaan sebagai seorang rakyat Malaysia yang menunjukkan kesetiaan kepada raja dan negara selain melampaui hak kebebasan bersuara di bawah Perkara 10 Perlembagaan Persekutuan.
