KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Social Security Organisation (Socso) handed over benefits to the widow of Mohamad Izuan Ibrahim, the former coach of world No. 1 shuttler Kento Momota.Mohamad Izuan died last Dec 23.
KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Social Security Organisation handed over benefits to the widow of Mohamad Izuan Ibrahim, the former coach of world No. 1 shuttler Kento Momota.Its director Nora Yaacob said the benefits included RM2,000 for funeral expenses and a survivor’s pension for Siti Marshytah Mohamad, 41.
“The benefits are provided after we checked and found that the late Mohamad Izuan fulfilled the conditions for claims under the survivor’s pension scheme,” she told reporters after the ceremony to present the benefits to Siti Marshytah at her residence in Kampung Banggol, Jalan Pantai Cahaya Bulan, here yesterday.Nora said that under the scheme, Siti Marshytah would receive a monthly pension of RM1,787.
Mohamad Izuan died at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia here from spontaneous left intracerebral haemorrhage.
