Pennsylvania scored the eighth overall spot, boasting metrics such as an 82 percent adoption rate of cats and nearly 30 percent of households containing at least one feline friend. The Keystone State was also found to have 42.96 cat stores per million people, and 0.84 cat cafes per million people.“Wyoming is officially the most cat-crazy state in the US, with an overall score of 7.46,” the study leads.
