: Seorang pengurus sebuah syarikat pengawal keselamatan didenda RM3,000 oleh Mahkamah Majistret di sini hari ini atas dua pertuduhan menghalang tugas dan mengeluarkan kata kesat kepada anggota polis, empat tahun lepas.
Paramver Singh didakwa menghalang anggota polis daripada menjalankan tugasnya dengan enggan memberi pengenalan diri dan memaki hamun pihak polis. Tertuduh juga didakwa menggunakan perkataan kurang sopan kepada Sarjan Mohd Shukor Md Yusof mengikut Seksyen 90 Akta Polis 1967 yang memperuntukkan hukuman denda maksimum RM500 atau penjara tidak melebihi enam bulan atau kedua-duanya, jika sabit kesalahan.
