Penang South Reclamation won’t hurt fishermen, assures exco

FISHERMEN will not be affected by the Penang South Reclamation project, said Dr Afif Bahardin yesterday. The state Agriculture, Agro-based Industries, Rural Development and Health Committee chairman said the Penang government has set up access channels between the three man-made islands under PSR to facilitate the movement of fishermen’s boats to the open sea.
