State PH chief Chow Kon Yeow said PH and BN will present their ‘unity manifesto’ for the state on Aug 1.
Chow said this was to recognise the cooperation between PH and BN and the coalition government they will form if they win the state. “To show our commitment to camaraderie, we will present all 40 hopefuls as unity candidates,” he told a press conference at the state DAP headquarters here. Separately, he said all 19 DAP candidates had successfully filed their nomination papers this morning, with most of them facing straight fights. He said Penang will also see four three-cornered fights and three four-cornered fights.
