Pedestrian struck and killed in Lake Murray community [Breaking]
A pedestrian was struck and killed in the Lake Murray community early Friday, San Diego police said.
A 2013 Toyota Prius was headed west and struck the victim, who was walking in the roadway in an “extremely dark” area, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and died before he could be taken to a hospital.Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The department’s traffic division is investigating.
