Police are appealing for dash cam or CCTV vision that may assist an investigation into the death of a man who was hit by a car on Thursday morning.
According to police, a 55-year-old man from Roselands was driving the white sedan when the crash happened.
He has been taken to Canterbury Hospital for mandatory testing and is assisting police with their enquiries. "Police have been told a 69-year-old man was critically injured when struck by a white Honda Civic sedan being driven by a 55-year-old man from Roselands," police said in a statement. The Crash Investigation Unit are at the scene conducting inquiries with Campsie Police to establish what exactly led to the collision. "Police have spoken with a number of witnesses but are keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam vision they believe could assist investigators," the statement continued.
Anyone with dashcam footage that may be relevant to this incident is urged to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
