Everett police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Monday morning. FOX13
The crash happened on Evergreen Way at about 6 a.m.
Police told FOX 13 News that a man in his 80s was in the roadway when a car struck him. He died at the scene. Investigators said the driver of the car stayed at the scene. Evergreen Way between 100th and Everett Mall Way was closed for several hours for the investigation, and later reopened at about 10 a.m.
