PETALING JAYA: It was not the best ending to the year for national No. 1 women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah but the pair are staying upbeat ahead of upcoming challenges next season.
Pearly-Thinaah had crashed out in the group stages of the World Tour Finals in Bangkok a week ago after losing all three of their matches.
Pearly-Thinaah, though, are unfazed by the defeats and are ready to put them behind ahead of a pivotal year. “Time to reflect and restart for a new season. Looking forward as always,” Thinaah said via social media.The duo had created history in October after becoming the first women’s doubles pair in the country to capture the French Open title.
