PETALING JAYA: After a two-month wait, Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah will finally get to spar with former men’s doubles ace Tan Boon Heong.

And the session may start as soon as today, according to national doubles coaching director Rexy Mainaky.

The arrangement will be timely as Pearly-Thinaah, the world No. 11 women’s doubles pair, will be heading to the Denmark Open from Oct 18-23.‘’We said he could spar with Pearly-Thinaah or any women’s doubles pairs. It’s not an official deal that we offered him. We met right before the World Championship and we asked whether he could help with the sparring.”
