Pearl Theater stages a production of “Annie, Jr.” last year. The theater, 14803 Park Almeda Drive, Houston, is planning camp productions for youths throughout the summer.Theaters in the Friendswood and Pearland areas are hosting summer camps for youths to develop acting and tech skills. Every person gets a part in the production as long as fees are submitted on time.through its summer camp programs including Disney's"Mulan's Adventures" next month.
The theater, 14803 Park Almeda Drive, Houston, will have opportunities for kids and teens to explore acting, singing, dancing and behind-the-scenes jobs such as lighting and costume design. The all-day camp will provide two snack breaks and a lunchtime for participants. Parents are encouraged to send healthy snacks, lunch and water for their child each day. All campers must wear closed-toed shoes.The theater is set to begin a camp from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 12-16 for a"Crew is Fun, Too" program for ages 11-17 to learn about the responsibilities crew members are given for a production. If interested, parents may call the theater for last-minute availability.
