Peak hour waiting time on Kelana Jaya LRT line cut to less than four minutes, says Loke

KUALA LUMPUR: Waiting time on the Kelana Jaya LRT line has been reduced to 3.8 minutes with the introduction of three new trains under the KLAV27 (Kuala Lumpur Additional Vehicle) project, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

"Under this project, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and its sister company Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd gradually acquired the new trains from September 2020.

"The other 16 trains will be acquired gradually from now until December next year," he said on Thursday at the launch of KLAV27 at the Pasar Seni LRT station here.
