KOTA KINABALU: PBS Youth Chief Datuk Dr Christoper Mandut has hit back at Sabah Umno Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, calling his remarks defensive and contradictory.
Dr Christoper clarified that PBS never claimed to receive an offer from BN but simply stated its stance to not cooperate with BN in the upcoming state election .He dismissed Bung’s claims of PBS being irrelevant, noting that if that were true, there would be no reason for Umno to issue a full statement attacking the party.
Addressing accusations of coalition-hopping, Dr Christoper urged Bung to reflect on Umno’s own shifting alliances, saying political realignment should serve the people, not personal ambition.
