KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) hopes to contest in the new Tulid state seat in Pensiangan district for the upcoming polls.
Its Youth exco chief Edwin Laimin said this is based on the developments brought by the party, through its president who is also former Pensiangan MP Tan Sri Joseph Kurup, all these years.Edwin said this proves that PBRS is capable of doing a good job and is able to win this new state seat in the coming election.“With a good track record, I feel that it is only right that PBRS be given the chance to contest in the Tulid seat.
“We will discuss and appeal to Barisan Nasional to allow PBRS to contest this seat, ” he said in a statement on Monday .
