President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is due to meet world leaders for meetings on a number of topics, including global nutrition, when he attends the 2023 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week.
During a pre-departure briefing on Thursday, Jan. 12, organized by the Presidential Communications Office, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Carlos Sorreta said that the President would talk with leaders on mutual concerns and interests.
One of the main events that Marcos is scheduled to attend is a stakeholder dialogue on global nutrition, which the Foreign Affairs official described as “something very important to us.”While “food security, of course, very important, but nutrition is also very important.”
