The Frenchman returned to the Red Devils in 2016 following a club-record transfer from Juventus, whom he had joined from United as a free agent just four years earlier.
At the time, Pogba was widely considered an issue for the Portuguese tactician, despite his impressive performances on the biggest stage for Les Bleus at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. While he has previously alluded to having a difficult time under the ex-Real Madrid and Chelsea boss, Pogba has now admitted it was around then when he began to start experiencing depression.
"Personally, it started when I was with Jose Mourinho at United. You ask yourself questions, you wonder if you are at fault because you have never experienced these moments in your life.
