PETALING JAYA: Passengers are reminded to continue observing all health guidelines issued by the relevant authorities even as some of the measures under the movement control order (MCO) are eased, says the Transport Minister.

Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong noted that the MCO continues to be in effect until otherwise announced by the National Security Council .

Dr Wee said under the conditional MCO announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin earlier Friday, more crowds are expected to gather at terminals, boarding stations, and stops. "They must also adhere to any additional health regulation as dictated by private operators when on public transportation.

The Transport Ministry and its agencies will continue to improve health screening at public transport stations in phases, Dr Wee said.
