Pasir Puteh MP hurt after Mercedes Benz skids on NSE near Tapah

The Pas Dewan Ulama chief suffered a minor leg injury in the incident and was taken to the Tapah Hospital for treatment.

It is understood that Nik Muhammad Zawawi was returning to Kuala Lumpur after attending the Maulidur Rasul Premier Forum at Kompleks Pendidikan Matin, in Kangar, Perlis, on Sunday, when the accident occurred. A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said that they received a call about the accident at 1.02pm and despatched a team from the Bidor Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.
