PASIR GUDANG: The Pasir Gudang City Council (MBPG) has decided to drop the maintenance fee from RM2.60 to RM1.80 per sq ft for all 292 Kebayan restaurants and Semai Niaga here.
Pasir Gudang mayor Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman said there is a further 5% discount if the tenants agree to offer Menu Rahmah at their respective restaurants.
“This is the first time such calculations have been introduced since the Kebayan and Semai Niaga were built back in 1993 by Johor Corporation . “So for 30 years, there has never been any increase in the rental fee,” he said when met by reporters after a townhall session with Kebayan and Semai Niaga tenants at Dewan Muafakat Taman Mawar here on Wednesday .
