Motorists with outstanding fines for traffic violations issued by the TPMO and TORO before May 15 this year can avail of amnesty until Dec. 31, the Pasig City local government announced.

Based on City Ordinance Nos. 18 and 19, Series of 2023, motorists who have unredeemed Unified Ordinance Violation receipts from the TPMO before May 15, 2023 will only pay the basic fine and ten percent of the penalty corresponding to their violation. To avail of the amnesty, motorists must proceed to the TPMO and present their UOVR and a government-issued ID.

For traffic violation-related UOVRs, the TPMO is available to process the amnesty from Monday to Sunday, starting at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on F. Manalo Street, Barangay Sto. Tomas.TMPO and TORO offices are closed during holidays. The local government had previously passed ordinances on a similar amnesty, citing it as an “opportunity for delinquent traffic violators, most of whom are poor, to redeem their confiscated licenses and vehicle units without the imposed penalties, start working for their families, and encourage them to settle their obligations.”
