Good news to business owners in Pasig City! The local government announced on Friday, Jan. 20, that the deadline for the assessment and payment of business taxes is extended until Friday, Jan. 27.
The Pasig City Council passed on Thursday, Jan. 19, Resolution No. 153, series of 2023, which extends the period of tax payments in order for owners to renew their business permits.
The incentive, which lapsed on Jan. 20, was based on Chapter V, Article III, Section 66 of the Revised 2017 Pasig Revenue Code. The collected RPT includes the Basic RPT , one percent for Special Education Fund Tax, and three percent for Ad Valorem Tax on Idle Lands.
