The peace council of Barangay Dela Paz underwent a validation session with DILG-NCR as it vies to make the shortlist of the best barangay “lupong tagapamayapa” in the region. ManilaBulletin
The on-site validation, led by the Regional Awards Committee , was conducted on Wednesday, May 3, as part of the DILG’s “Search for the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards ” for the regional level in 2023.
It includes members of the NCR Police Office , the Regional Trial Court , the presidents of the Regional Peace and Order Council and the Liga ng mga Barangay, along with two region-based civil society organizations . They shared their council’s outputs, insights, performances, and innovations in fulfillment of their duties in settling disputes and maintaining peace and order in the barangay.Its selection by the CAC made the Dela Paz peace council qualified for assessment by the RAC.
