ABDUL Hadi Awang today reiterated PAS’ aim to table a vote of confidence on Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s leadership at next month’s Parliament meeting, even after the prime minister said he will quit after the Apec summit in November. The Islamist party president said the move was not to apple polish the 94-year-old premier but to “save the nation”, as political scheming on who should be the next prime minister continues unabated.
